Dever State School has been kind of a second home location to me for a while now. If there's nothing better to do, I'm going to head out to Dever. For a few months now I've been thinking about finding as much history about the location as possible and attempting to possibly write a book about the state school. Since so little information about this former POW camp turned state school is available online, I've decided to collect numerous documents from inside of the buildings that scatter this vast campus. During this trip with AbandonedNH, Clahhhkie, and TheWeth, I came home with a collection of newsletters printed at the school known as The Dever State School: The Voice. The copies I found were in perfect condition and spanned a few years. In these newsletters were many articles and snip-its about the state school, upcoming events, past events, history, photographs, and many, many patient and staff names. I plan to come in contact with as many of the former staff as possible and try and learn more about the location for information to include in my book. This was one of the best recon missions I've ever had at the campus, and I've learned so much about the history of Dever State School through the newsletters. All in all, an excellent trip. I'll continue to return until I have all the information I think I need to complete my book. Here's some pictures I managed to snap while walking around in search of information. Enjoy.

Castle Hill Farms
I'd seen this location online multiple times in the past and had always been slightly interested in it, but had no idea where it was. Clahhhkie asked me one day if I'd be interested in seeing it, and I jumped at the offer. I love rundown locations that helped society survive in the years past. I don't know much about the history of the farm, but I know it's a great, low key location kill some time at. Not the most photogenic place I've ever visited, but these are the shots I did manage to walk away with.
