"Iron Horse Park is a 550 acre train yard used to be the Boston and Maine Railroad's largest maintenance yard, back when B&M was the biggest railroad company in the state. Steam locomotives, diesels, and passenger cars were all maintained at this site over the years."
Abandoned Dreams had heard about this location in the past, but never really saw anything that made us want to visit. One day on a whim, we did. This place is actually pretty sick, but it's difficult for photos to do it any justice. This is one of those "see it to believe it" kind of locations, and I'm personally glad we decided to. Well worth the ride.
