If You Can't Get In It, Get On It

The title says it all. This abandoned mill managed to keep me out, but not off. Found a way to climb to the fire escape and play around on top of it for a while. Nothing special.

Chairhook Mill

This mill produced hardwood furniture back in it's heydays. Pretty rad little place. We weren't able to access the second half of the mill due to the catwalk being sealed from the opposite side and no other entrances to that half of the mill. Damned shame too, it looked gorgeous.

The Floral Mill

This place was pretty sick. Kind of empty, but half of the building was fire damaged and I love me a crispy building. As we were checking out the second floor, Cambria told me she thought she saw a kid in a blue sweatshirt in the hallway next to the room we were in. I looked out into the hallway and told her she was crazy. I took a few more shots in the room and we turned out into the hallway and almost walked into the arms of the kid Cambria had seen. I think he jumped further back than we did. We introduced ourselves and went along on our merry way. Good times.

Orange Glow Garage

Last building of the day for our random trip to Providence. Some little garage type building. Nothing too special, but it had a sick little orange glowing spot on the floor from where the sun was shining in. Kinda rad.

Climbing The Cupola

This mill celebrated it's 200th anniversary as a landmark in my town, so on it's birthday I decided to climb the cupola. This building has survived five fires in the past and the cupola floor is awfully weak, but it was a great way to spend it's birthday

Cement Playground

We were originally on location to celebrate the 200th anniversary of a historic mill in my town. There was an event setup by the city and I was under the assumption they would be touring the mill. We got there and the event sucked, so we said fuck it, and went to play nearby at the cement playground.
